Of course, the left made it easy for them. The left really did purge conservatives from universities and other cultural power centers. The left really did valorize a “meritocratic” caste system that privileged the children of the affluent and screwed the working class. The left really did pontificate to their unenlightened moral inferiors on everything from gender to the environment. The left really did create a stifling orthodoxy that stamped out dissent. If you tell half the country that their voices don’t matter, then the voiceless are going to flip over the table.

Of the Marine Corps that, you know, or his, you know, the other people that got the tattoo didn’t get it removed as well. They didn’t necessarily see a problem with it. It makes total sense to me that, like, somebody drunken in the military gets a dumb tattoo with a bunch of their friends and maybe doesn’t know about it.

I am not really questioning, honestly, his ideology at this point. I am now questioning that and now believe he’s a liar and believe that he had. He’s a rapist. So like that’s a different level and that’s something, it’s a separate question in my view. And that’s what makes it disqualifying. So. So I do look back on that differently. Not questioning his ideology. You can have a left wing ideology and be a bad person. And it seems like that’s what Grant Platner is.

Just checking, is 300 billion more or less than 1.7 or even 50 billion? That this is the closest they get to presenting hard comparative facts about the two deals and it lands 7 graphs in is also quite a choice.

Few issues animate Mr. Trump and other critics of the Obama-era deal as much as the U.S. shipment to Tehran of $1.7 billion in cash a few months after that nuclear deal was agreed upon. That payment was a debt owed to Iran, which bought military equipment from the United States that it never received.

The $1.7 billion pales, however, next to the $50 billion or more in Iranian foreign assets unfrozen under the 2015 agreement.

Mr. Trump’s comments continued the mixed messages coming out of his administration. On Monday, Vice President JD Vance told CBS that Iran could be given access to a $300 billion reconstruction fund.

The one thing that I heard from regular people who were trying to figure out whether they believed you, specifically about this tattoo - 'cause you said, I didn't know what it was. But you've also described yourself as a military history buff.

Editorial mess. Looks like they're referring to their earlier reporting last week. Unclear if they're conflating the anonymous official and Rubio or if they're one and the same.

Mr. Baghaei said on Monday that Iran was not discussing details of its nuclear program at the moment, though on Sunday, a senior U.S. official had told reporters that Iran had, in principle, committed to giving up stockpiles of enriched uranium that could become the basis for a nuclear weapon. The official spoke anonymously to discuss the sensitive talks.

Jeffries and allies have designed plans for the next two years to push blue states to set aside nonpartisan redistricting rules or gerrymander even more aggressively, with an eye toward producing a dozen or more new Dem seats. Behind the scenes, his allies are preparing a messaging push against any Democrats who stand in the way of gerrymandering, insisting that only "real Democrats" are willing to fight. One lawmaker has been in early talks with potential delegates at a future Democratic convention on trying to prevent any blue-state leaders who can't get a new map passed from getting a speaking slot. And for those already in office, primary challenges aren't off the table...

Jeffries told CNN that Democrats in NY, NJ, WA, CO, OR, MD, and IL must act "aggressively" to respond to the GOP's gerrymandering push. There are also half a dozen more states on the table if Democrats can win key state races this November...Jeffries recently sent a fellow New York Democrat, Rep. Joe Morelle, to Albany to make the case that Democrats have no choice but to act. "We cannot exist in an environment where Republicans are free to gerrymander congressional districts out of existence without an expectation that Democrats are going to respond immediately and forcefully," Jeffries told CNN.

I live in Oregon. So Oregon is very, very Democratic, and very left in a lot of their opinions and their policies. I have seen the advantages and the benefits of that. At the same time, I do have a lot of moral issues with a lot of what they do. I live in a community where most of us are moderate, leaning conservative. We talked about our vote, and a lot of regret was there. And I feel regret, too. But at the same time, I do want to emphasize for myself and for those people, the fact is, it’s more that I should have not voted at all, instead of voted for another person, because it’s like, in my terms, it is like a trolley problem. There’s two evils. It’s going to get you a similar result.
