I had a visitor this morning 💜🪴 Look at what a great job Alex has been doing with the African violets while I've been in the hospital! LE Luntik full of lush starry blooms #Horticulture #Home #Gardening #IndoorGardening #AfricanViolet #Saintpaulia #senpolia
We had a hummingbird visitor to our honeysuckle yesterday; couldn't get a pic in time
Feeling calm/pain managed enough to be able to sit & read for a bit helps one feel human
We had an electrical storm come through around 2:30pm that was so dramatic that the power is still out on restaurant row in Passyunk. No power = no refrigerator/freezer Some restos had to throw out all their food And then at 8pm we get...this. Heart-stoppingly gorgeous sky
We enjoy the "Dark Winds" series on AMC, so I bought all the novels & have been saving them to read while recovering from surgery. Hillerman loved and respected the land and the people he wrote about, and his appreciation for the natural beauty of the Southwest comes through clearly on every page
Pizzeria Stella makes a very close approximation called a "Tartufo." Youngest will come over from Jersey just to satisfy the craving

#POV: 12 active threads As the panel nears completion, it can be hard to spot where the changes are at the end of the day, so here's an "in progress" morning shot. My tenter frame is large & somewhat unwieldy, so I tend to work all the threads on one side before flipping around to the other

The costume design by Jany Temime in Young Sherlock is *excellent* I was chortling with joy at the pintucks in his French linen hospital gown in ep.7. The fabrics. The tailoring. The hats. And then BOOM, the women's coats, fantastical & fabulous & ahistorical & I don't care, I want one. In leather.
