Peculiar husband. Dorkiest of dads. Middling Horror Writer. Probably cooking dinner.
Can’t help but picture him doing a Francis Buxton out in the reflecting pool.
The guy on the right is actually here on Bluesky The Sports App (he’s delightful).
There was also a line of toys called Rocks & Bugs & Things which fell a little flat.
Toss up be the Jurassic Park dinosaur spoons and the Cap’n’Crunch figures.
Sitting down in about half an hour to finish this one and holy hell has it been amazing so far!
The Acme Super Duper Munch’n’Crunch Bars (with almonds) from Tiny Toon Adventures. Don’t know why because I can’t recall if you ever actually see the candy bar outside of it turning into a slobbering monster…not sure what that says about me.
John Langan’s The Fisherman. Went into it semi-blind—had no idea that it was set in the area of New York where I grew up. Seeing so many familiar names and laces mentioned is hitting way different.
Always found the dancing chickens from Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” video delightful.
The only reason anyone got the Sweet Pickles collection was so they could use the bus carrying case for their Ninja Turtles, etc.
Trevor Henderson had raved about this a while back. I’m halfway through and it’s amazing.
