I write SF&F and I like rain, animals, & some people. They/them, but not attached. Queer. Always antifascist. Repped by Prentis Literary.
Saw documentary Mary Oliver, Saved by the Beauty of the World. S’good. Also I miss Stephen Colbert (he’s in the documentary). “… the fields and the woods and the possibility of the world salvaged from the lords of profit.” (With picture from the garden.)
A very small poem from last year, a moment's respite from, *gestures*...
Two lizards, hereabouts known as a Milton and a Mildred, on the head of a dragon statue in the garden, photo taken by my sister.
A digital collage (not AI) and a poem reappearing from the past. Somewhat on the subject of the numinous.
Horses, 16th c, ancient Chinese (Crocker museum), modern (outside a Ben Franklin store).
Here is a digital collage (no AI) I did for comfort several years ago, and a poem, ditto.
The lizards are getting a little more patient sitting for glamour shots.
Hello, I am lizard. One of the black lizards that inhabit the gardens here.
Longing for a world kinder, readier, queerer. (digital collage, not AI)
A digital collage (not AI) from four years ago just as a moment's refreshment on the timeline.
Wrote this in 2020. Still rings true tones in me. But also, I know there are lights shining through; there are always lights shining through.
