The opening of the exhibition ‘Amsterdam 3hoog achter’ was a blast! Over 100 people attending. And a lot of compliments for the expo and the book. As a gift to the city, I offered 30 copies of the book to the public libraries of Amsterdam. Here handing them over symbolically to employees of OBA.
Guess what! The book is delivered! Very pleased by the good work of the publisher and printer. Tomorrow it will be officially released at the opening of the exhibition. Be welcome @WGKunst. Today: hanging all the 52 tree drawings in the gallery.

In Parijs op de voorlaatste dag van de expo Italiaanse Renaissance tekeningen in de #FondationCustodia. Hier een kleine selectie van tekeningen die mij aanspraken omdat je daarin het zoekende van de tekenaars ziet, wat de tekeningen heel beweeglijk maakt. 1-3 Fra Bartolomeo en 4 Jacopo Pontormo:
Gisteren op de valreep (laatste dag expo én laatste dag in Parijs) de Surrealisme tentoonstelling in Pompidou gezien, met een paar highlights (ja, met ook bomen): Meret Oppenheim (Daphne en Apollo), Dorothea Tanning (portrait of a family), Suzanne van Damme, Dora Maar.

That looks great! Today we went to a temporary exhibition in the Van Gogh museum with my mum: impressionist paintings, drawings from collections in the Netherlands. I especially loved the works by Monet, Pisarro, Degas, Morisot and Cassatt. (Picture: my mother and me in front of a work by Cezanne).
