Qatar Airways is aiming for a ribbon-cutting by the end of this year on it's new at lounge at BKK's satellite terminal. This means that if your flight doesn't depart from the satellite terminal, you won't be able to use the lounge if flying a premium cabin on other oneworld carriers. ✈️ #PaxEx
Qatar's Hamad International Airport #DOH has increased gate capacity by 20% with the opening of Concourse E. The latest terminal expansion has added eight new contact gates & 51,000 sq metres of space. Further development to expand Concourse D will be announced in a few weeks.
A new iconic Qantas uniform is set to debut in 2027. 👀 “As we look to the future, we are embarking on a major uniform redesign for all pilots, cabin crew, engineers, lounge, freight & airport teams. The new look will form part of our major fleet investments in the coming years.”

Cathay Pacific is reconfiguring its three class Boeing 777-300ERs with it's new Aria Suite business class. The new cabin is already on two aircraft: B-KPO & B-KPF - B-KQH is expected to enter service soon. Both aircraft have flown to LHR in recent days: CX255 HKG to LHR CX250 LHR to HKG ✈️ #AvGeek

This was flying into Manchester on Tuesday afternoon - 33C when I left Bali, landing in Manchester it was just 1C.
Just did an overnight Qatar Airways flight onboard one of these planes. They still have the Virgin Australia cabin instead. We may well see them dedicating these planes to the ‘VA operated by QR flights’ if the QR deal to invest in VA is approved.
No searching if you’re flying Qatar Airways, the menu for your flights is in the app. And if you’re flying business class, you can pre-select your main course.

In the coming months, more than 15 airlines serving millions of people globally will begin accepting Apple’s ‘Find My’ item locations as part of their customer service process for locating mishandled or delayed bags. More airlines will be added over time.

Ahead of Oman Air's integration into oneworld - Oman Air became a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, and Qantas has joined Oman Air’s Sinbad loyalty scheme. Will be interesting to see if British Airways or any other oneworld members do the same.
Qatar Airways’ first Starlink-equipped B777 operated today from Doha to London. 12 B777-300s will have Starlink service by the end of 2024! They’ve committed to rolling out the technology on its entire B777 fleet in 2025. Installation on the A350 fleet follows in the summer of 2025.
Short answer... yes. This is part of the Changi East project. T5 will be linked to the other terminals at Changi Airport, allowing the expanded airport to be operated as a single, integrated airport for ease of transfer between different terminals with airfield operational efficiency.
