I saw this Andrew Davidson Seraphina cover across a crowded Waterstones and bought it without reading anything at all about the book. Straight to the till and no regrets. Last week the cover of Nature's Dance pulled me in - just beautiful.

I just checked but I don't have a picture of that building. This was the view from my hotel. Apart from 3-4 air alarms and one night mostly in a shelter (well, hotel basement) life was going on. There were a lot more flags out than in 2019 and a lot more military memorials/uniforms/funerals.

Lviv will always be the city of my heart but there is definitely something about Uzhhorod too...

I read along in the first year, I think. I enjoyed listening to the radio adaptation day-by-day a couple of years ago too. I had the Puffin covers like this one - always liked them. Not a fan of the cartoony ones.
