🇦🇺 RPGs art maps words worlds. Pro GM working with special needs folks. Chaotic Good, possibly Chaotic Stupid. Always learning. Bit o' Tolkien, bit o' Star Wars, bit o’ Alien on the side, mythology, nature, astronomy! Working on www.feralrpg.com
There is always something extremely fucking awesome about seeing something you made become physically tangible, even if it’s flawed. Anyways, progress continues on bringing Not-Goreball to life.
The One Ring triggering my OCD cause Minas Tirith could never be lit from the right especially at that angle cause the equator of Middle Earth in the Third Age lies way to the south and the city faces east so should only ever be lit from the left and OMG do you guys realise what you’re doing to me
Had some fun tonight in Heroforge, revisiting the Mauljaw goalbeast from the game-formerly-known-as-Goreball-because-someone-ripped-it-off-thanks-a-bunch with this new mini design. Plus sized smiley boy who just wants to give you a hug and eat you.
New Altaina Galffa alien under way. Think it's a Viperhive. #AltainaGalffa #StarWarsD6RPG #StarWarsRPG #StarWars
Back at it. New AltainaGalffa alien, the Sapphryn. #AltainaGalffa #StarWarsD6RPG #StarWarsRPG #StarWars
Didn’t know what I was drawing when I started but I think it’s a Demon of Progress. Some gloom got in my eyes.
My favourite D&D 3rd Edition thing was the Unearthed Arcana book, not just all the variant rules it offered but how it walked through the philosophy behind the choices and explained the impacts the changes would have. Essential game tinkering book for anyone who plays any kind of D&D.
Currently reliving the guilt of playing a game of Talisman with a shiny brand new player and letting them get to one square of the Valley of Fire before casting Acquisition on them and steal their Talisman. They never played again. Still haunted, seventeen years and counting…
It's time for a midweek mood check! Use a GIF, vid, or image to share how you are feeling today 💖
When you partied too hard the night before and have to clean up the horror show the morning after… only you’re a gamer
Same. BUUUT I picked up the massive concept art book ten years ago, and really liked the work they did, then Kid 2 found my book, fell in love with MOTU and is a massive fan now so get to enjoy it vicariously through him. He very rarely goes to the cinema (sensory issues), DEFINITELY going for this.
Post a poster that you used to have on your wall (Saw ‘em at the first Big Day Out, where during the day I bumped into Dave (ball of energy) and then Chris(super chilled))
Oh man. Check out this art from Thai visionary Kriangkrai Kongkhanun. More RPG art like THIS, please! www.kongkhanun.com/project/prin...
