For #RockinTuesday, a cool cobble I found by Kootenay Lake in BC. Any #BCgeology people here? I'd love to know what it was doing there. Seems like some kind of tuff or rhyolite, very different from any bedrock I saw nearby, though there were others like it on the beach. #geology #canada

Today's view, even worse. A very slight uptick in w. Montana and Idaho's Clearwater, which might be nice for me but ain't much. Everywhere else ate it in March, southern Sierra lost that little bright spot of a month ago. Colorado River basin, OR/CA Cascades are terrifying.
