Of the sunset the hue
@jhadur
I get a little warm in my heart when I think of winter. He/they.
Due to Circumstances, I need a knitting pattern from a tasselled wobbegong.
Trick question, ADHD book - If I was forced to choose a small number of priorities to focus on, I would simply die.
Not totally sure it counts, but I always kinda loved the woodcut printing William Blake did on his poems? They're just so *handmade*, it's so very "oh yeah, this was just a guy making a zine of his little poems"?
Coming outside to watch the sun set on the solstice! Half way to winter now!
#OliveArtClub One tiny amigurumi teapot! (It doesn't hold its shape too well, it's lightly stuffed but a bit lumpy. Maybe with a bit of aggressive starching it would stay rounder. Still, fun!
Enjoying the range of basketball knowledge on display here on Bsky. (I am definitely #4)
Data: structured! (The top one is a linked list, the bottom is an array. Still to finish: A hash table, and a binary tree.)
Knitting! (going to make just a few more of each, then assemble these into digraphs!)
Comb-able torus knitting! The plan is to add hairs to the spheres, then sew the handles on to each - that'll give comb-able 1-, 2- and 3-hole toruses. (Still not sure how actually comb-able these are, whether the hairs need to be much longer, or just more dense? More hairy, less bristly?)
"If you see this I implore you to quote skeet with an unusual image from your posting device without explanation. Still definitely use alt text, though."
It's such a nice day I'm struggling to be cynical and misanthropic.
Knitting! These are going to be a Maths Thing (a set of toruses that will, after a lot of sewing, demonstrate the "hedgehog combing" theorem)!
Wondering if I could knit the (Disney) Hercules Muses onto a pair of socks? I'm thinking replacing the triangular pediment with just a flat line, running around the ankles?
You heard the guy, exploding into a flock of bats is AI's secret weakness - fellow cryptids, this is what we trained for!
Knitting! Made this combable torus, because maths! (It's not really that combable, I think I need to look into yarn that's a bit more drape-y for the hairs. But this was really aimed to just try out the techniques, before I make some more complex versions.)
