What a successful day! I completed 30 (!) pages & went on a walk to find 2 huge sheets of Perspex by the road- exactly the size I need to finish a prop. Like a little reward from the Universe! (Also- what were these used for before do you reckon? Animal Tank? Plant growing? Answers on a post card!)

I was walking to the train station when this lone gentleman approached me and boofed, which I took to mean he needed assistance. With no collar but a confident attitude he followed me while I knocked on several doors until we found his Dad- apparently my new friend is an escape artist!

Guys! Guys. I don’t want to get anyone too alarmed but there are TWO FROGS this morning. At this rate it will take about a month before there are more frogs than people on the planet. I for one welcome our frog overlords.

Reading some Katherine Mansfield short stories on the advice of @horrornonna.com and I’m hooked; tales with a twist from darkly female perspective. Honest and grim and wicked all at once. Some excellent winter reading.

The way this dog loves things that move fast on screen, it’s no surprise he’s a Sonic superfan. I put it on hoping he’d like it and I was not disappointed!

A little over a month ago I had an adventure. I made a short film in ten days with a partner I’d never met under the guidance of the incredible Werner Herzog with an all Spanish cast. I don’t speak Spanish. That time proved to me incredible things are possible. I can’t wait to share the result.
