But even solar on non-ag land leaves the land barren, no trees or bushes. Much of the agrisolar I see written about involves spreading 5 acres of panels over 10 acres of land and farming between them. Seems like it would make the farming inefficient. And a lot of it is just but ugly

China is in the process of building 291GW of coal generation in 2026. They are also building abt 40GW of wind AND solar (200 mythical nameplate GW) Per Google Gemini Almost 100% of all solar panels originate in China. They must be laughing their asses off.
Congrats to Amgen who just topped out a $1.5 Billion expansion in Mount Holly NC. This is likely part of the $200bn in manufacturing building construction in 2026. The expansion is the small building in the back. There are a lot of fools who say Mfg is dead in the US. They should know better.
