I made @mehr.nz 's plum cake using nectarines, adding orange zest to the cake batter and using the maceration liquid as a glaze when it came out of the oven. 10/10 adding this to the rotation. Thanks Sam

Yes it doesn't read like they are taking pot shots at anyone. But reading it more closely this am it is devastating in its simplicity. Can you imagine sitting in the lab meeting when this is first presented and feeling your stomach drop to the floor?
The only measure used that has been shown to correlate w neuronal activity is BOLD. Not saying BOLD is gold standard, but cmon...Third, I was overall positive about the paper until I read this below:

Today I became a US citizen. I was really moved that some friends who'd recently been RIFd or quit bc of the current admin came out to celebrate. Plenty still believe in what this country can and should be.
