Out of the polisher, and all washed. Now letting them air dry before pulling out the paint. The silver ones were last year’s edition, and you can see the numbers and max value symbol (crossed flintlock and dagger) on them.
Guess what time it is! If you’re thinking it’s dice-making time you’re right!
My second watercolor painting, an attempt at coastal redwoods. It feels too luminous; I still have a ways to go to use color effectively. Still, not too shabby. I’m really enjoying exploring this medium.

Accountability Post: I did a fairly good job getting out walking and closing my rings in February. A couple of days where I just didn’t have the spoons for it, but most days I found the mental wherewithal to get moving. March will be challenging due to vacation. Anyone want to help hold me to task?
So the new range arrived and was quickly, professionally installed. Sadly, we lost the use of that small drawer to the left, as the fascia of the range extends too far, but we knew that was a risk. We also need to purchase new cookware as our current aluminum pots and pans don’t work with it.
I had a bit of a health scare early in the month (my Apple Watch said it saw signs of hypertension which my physician assured me was not the case) so I thought I’d finally get off my butt and start exercising. 23 consecutive days closing my rings (with two skipped days from illness). Not bad!
A new tool to try out in the pursuit of perfectly polished dice: a vibratory polisher filled with 3 mm ceramic balls. You can see some junk masters in the medium. It’s not quiet, and it’s not a fast process, but hand polishing takes a significant toll on my wrists. Here’s hoping it works!
My artistic attempt of the day. I still feel I have a LOT to learn about how to mix colors, how to mute them appropriately, and how to see a bit more abstractly. But, I’m being creative, and I need to focus on that first.
As I recall they didn’t really do much with the King aspect of it, just one scene where Joe bows down to him in the second series, which Kevin scoffs at.
Our wall of art from around California is really coming together. This will be a source of comfort for me after the move.
