The Lily Allen VFM thing, I do get it. When I've seen any other act do an album-specific show, they give you that album, end to end, then they play their hits. Allen's show is a sung 50-min play, no chat, curtain. It's a lot of £££ for one artist, three string players and a backing track.
His trial isn’t happening until October 2027 which must be horrible for those five women accusing him. When we talk about normalising r@pe, I think a lot of people don’t know what to do in this pre-trial period. Do we invite him on a chat show? Let him play football for the national team?
