Retired Navy guy with some remarkable experiences. I am not an expert in politics, virology, or the psychology of the masses. Taught at a college you don't know. Loved sailing and miss the water, but deserts are pretty cool.
I asked AI about the peace deal. Seems to be missing the loss of life for both us and the Iranians, depleted stockpiles of missiles, and the dollar cost of the war. Totally insignificant, right?
Condition: Good? I guess standards vary amongst people. At least the airbags appear to have been tested and passed.
See that light blue water bottle sitting on the counter? It failed to follow me to the gym today. It is now on time out.
I admit that I didn't get very much video, but here is a snippet of the crowd at our No Kings protest in Surprise, AZ. We covered about two blocks on both sides of the road. Not bad for a red area. Only 3 drivers that I saw gave us negative gestures. Most honked and waved.
Since the subject of presidential birthdays are currently topical, I'd like to wish my favorite president an early Happy Birthday.
I guess I'm a wanted man for owning this hat. In my defense, it was given to me by friends. Please don't turn me in.
I have owned the first gen iPod (on the right). At the time, I was amazed at the tiny sized thing being able to store and play so many songs. Now it seems very inadequate.
Miss Kitty has been suffering from End Stage Renal Disease for awhile. She's not eaten in a few days and isn't doing well, despite infusions and various medications. Tomorrow we will have to say goodbye. She's 15 years old. Damn it, I wished they lived longer. You're the best.
Tucker had a couple of big growths removed from his chest and wouldn't leave the wound area alone, so... He showed his displeasure by not looking at me or moving. Much happier with a sweater covering the site.
How do you know if a new follower is an imposter or real? I mean, if she's real, I'm following back!!
General Aviation pilots beware flying at night. She's gunning for you. (Note: I was going to use "GA pilots" but that also stands for "Georgia" which works too!)
We used to joke that the cabin I started to build 28 years ago (then neglected) looked like the Unabomber cabin. They are both in Montana. Mine is on the left. It has a newer roof and paint now. I'm thinking of selling the property. Don't get up there much any longer.
Scooter (on the right) is afraid of everything and everyone, except us. He makes up for this by annoying barking at the slightest noise. He would enjoy walks, but there are too many scary things out there, so he relies on his brother for comfort and guidance. He's a snuggle-bunny, however.
This guy should weigh around 18 pounds but is pushing 21. He tries to hide it by wearing loose fitting clothing. Unsupervised, he will eat all the food in your house in one sitting. He's the best pup, however.
She's pretty old and stumbles a lot. We're trying to get her back up above 10 pounds, but she's become a picky eater and won't even touch the kidney diet food, but dang it, she's still cute!
