Got to meet Nathan Drake himself, Nolan North. Nicest guy. Took real time to talk to each fan that was there to see him. Didn't rush anyone, he took a bunch of pics, but this was my favorite.

Not sure who notice, or who cares. But you can see different fonts used on the Super7 Visionaries card backs. Leoric has the correct fonts. However, who ever created the image for Darkstorm was missing the font used, and it's just showing the default "missing font" look.

Here's three unreleased Marvel Comics plush I did the artwork for. A Jim Starlin inspired Thanos, and X-Men animated inspired Colossus & Juggernaut. These were originally meant to be Diamond Comics exclusives, but they cancelled their order right before they went bankrupt.

For May the 4th, here's something that's never been seen. This is a Chewbacca 24" tall wrestling buddy I designed. This sample was presented to Lucasfilm as part of a proposal for a plush license. It wound up not happening, but this sample is now part of my collection. Only 1 was made.

Just got my download links for The Thing Expanded documentary! Downloading now, hoping to watch the whole thing tonight if I can. Then I'll watch it again (and probably again after that) when the Blu-Ray comes in.

Cats sense that I'm very allergic to them, and like to get right up in my face. The problem is I try to rationalize how long I'm willing to endure the effects to pet them for a bit. This old gal finally settled down enough to let me take a pic.

The hockey rink I'm at is also apparently where Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau played in their youth. They had a rink named after them, a memorial, and photos up. Honestly a little choked up.

Watching my young nephew this weekend & he has hockey today. The ice rink we're at has a way too nice hockey bar/restaurant. Food was really good. If it wasn't like 50 miles away, I'd be here all the time.

Recent watch: The Deep Dark (2023) Miners & a scientist get trapped in a mine & they are hunted by a vicious creature. Wound up being only ok. Good idea, shaky execution. 1st hour could have been condensed. Creature was interesting, but under used. Would have worked better as a found footage movie.

Can't believe I found the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 CD Soundtrack today. Barnes & Noble had it. Plus it was 20% off the sticker price.

Watched 1000 Women in Horror on Shudder. I love horror documentaries, and this is no exception. Fun, informative & at times heartbreaking. It has some well-known guests, but also introduced me to a number of filmmakers I wasn't as familiar with. I've now got some new movies on my watch list.

Looks like YouTube updated and is screwing with people who keep their watch history paused. Now I no longer have any recommended videos on the home page. Before today, I'd still have a full slate of recommendations. This is the same on desktop, mobile, and Android apps. Haven't checked my PS5 app.

Here's a new product my team & I have been working on for the last year. A new line of molded classic TV Toasters. We're kicking off with Sonic The Hedgehog, Peanuts, Grinch, Bluey, Bob Ross, Shrek. I'm personally pushing for more classic cartoon and 8-Bit and 16-Bit video game licenses for these.

Just watched We Bury the Dead. It was ok, not as good as I had hoped. Starts off strong, with grief that feels earned. Then a bit at the halfway point derails the movie, and it never recovers for me. There is a great moment with a zombie that point to a bigger idea. But it's never expanded on.

I had no idea someone made a licensed Tecmo Bowl Board Game. I kinda need it.

Now that it's available to rent, I was finally able to check out 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. I only kinda liked 28 Years Later, but I absolutely loved The Bone Temple. Ralph Fiennes was incredible here. Loved the direction they took the infected. Excited to see how they close this trilogy out.

I live near a small airport. There has been a helicopter circling the neighborhood for almost 12 hours. Flight tracker shows it's the same helicopter running the same 11 minute flight path. Almost non-stop. I normally get only 2-3 aircraft in this area a day.

This is pretty awesome. Philadelphia Flyers goalie Dan Vladar included the Flyers Hockey Puck plush that I designed in his basket of "Favorite Things" for the Flyers Charity auction.

I've been waiting for this to pop up. Here an 8" tall plush I designed for the Cleveland Monsters of the AHL. It's a creature in water based on their logos. A lot of fun to work on and I was really happy with the final product.

Going to relax the rest of the night with In Search of Darkness 1995-1999 from @80shorrordoc.bsky.social. Started it last night, and it's just as much fun as you could hope for. Another round of great guests too.
