Best and worst thing about being a writer: you know in your body and soul you’ve got a story that could move a lot of people. But it’ll be YEARS before it sees light — if it ever does. Every fiber of your being tells you so. So you grind.
The other day I sat alone eating pizza. The pizzeria owner asked if I’d just gotten off work. I said yeah (it was 10 p.m., and I just finished a long day of writing/creating, big eye bags.) As I was leaving he handed me this HUGE pizza box with, like, 10 slices and said, “Take these home.” 🥹
Reading Anthropic’s paper. It’s one of the greatest debates of our time as we give birth to the next cradle of human civilization.
Watched at a local art theater. First time I’ve had wet cheeks through half a film… But glad I went. It’ll leave you shattered but somehow also more hopeful, knowing that at this time and in this space, this kind of story and art exist.

I turned on Netflix and saw the Free Solo guy climbing barehanded on the tallest building of my birthplace WTF 😂 (“Skyscraper”)
2025 was a storm — may 2026 rise clearer, steadier, and full of calm sparks.
A handful of this year’s paper reads — novels, comics, guidebooks. Nothing beats holding real books in hand undistracted. Tho I’ve been devouring more novels on Kindle too. 📚
This is fascinating. Expedition 33’s Photo Mode opens the world up in such a creative way — you can float the cam anywhere, play around with all sorts of cinematic parameters like a filmmaker #Expedition33
