This is woefully misguided & ahistorical. The modern Democratic Party in the U.S. would be nothing w/o the radical activism of Black socialists, including many of our Civil Rights Era heroes. For instance, Kamala Harris' father, Donald:

But he too had experienced colonial oppression firsthand — Donald was a young man when Jamaica gained independence from Britain in 1962 — and in his academic work he explored how Marxist economics could both explain and revive struggling Third World economies.

Later, his leftism would irk more conservative college administrators. After he had a stint as a popular visiting professor at Stanford in the early 1970s, students lobbied the school to "make a firmer commitment to a program in radical political economics" and offer a permanent position to Donald, who was described in the Stanford Daily as "one of two Marxian economists currently in the department." The chair initially dismissed their demands as "dangerous"; according to one op-ed, Donald's colleagues saw him as someone who "taught 'bad' courses too well" — a "charismatic ... pied piper leading students astray from neo-classical economics." Nonetheless, he continued to go against the grain, developing a graduate program in "alternative approaches to economic analysis" and studying how "uneven development" held back communities of color, both at home and abroad. In 1975, Stanford finally relented and hired him as a full professor.

Well... yes. The NSDAP borrowed iconography from many sources, including the U.S. & and imperial Rome, just as the U.S. had done previously. e.g. the giant fascio on the wall in the House were inspired by Roman symbolism, which also inspired 19th & 20th century fasci. It's basically a Reichsadler:

Ah, my second favourite bit of sandwich lore. The original sandwich was actually much more ridiculous:

For starters, there's his penchant for a behemoth sandwich he first discovered in Denver, Colorado. As the story goes, after a 1976 concert, Elvis and his police bodyguards ventured to the now-closed Colorado Mine Company restaurant for a bite to eat. There, he ordered a Fool's Gold Loaf—a sandwich made with a loaf of sourdough bread, a pound of bacon, a jar of peanut butter, and a jar of jelly. (Estimates put the sandwich at a whopping 8,000 calories.)

Fast forward a bit, and back at Graceland, Elvis got a late-night hankering for the loaf. And just as any good rock 'n' roll legend would do, he hopped on his private jet with a couple of friends in tow and flew to Denver. The owners of the restaurant met him at the hangar with a pile of the enormous sandwiches (some say they brought 22, others say 30); he enjoyed his Fool's Gold Loaf without ever leaving the hangar (stories say he paired it with Perrier and champagne), then headed back to Memphis.
