Agnostic, Builder, Contrarian, Designer,
Its and out of date idea but wouldn't it be nice if there was a rock solid and popular "wall of shame" where deceivers could be publicly called out with good testimony and made to wear something like a scarlet letter? open.substack.com/pub/scrimsha...
I guess its against their religion to do elbows up, so, in parliament the cons are putting on a show, hugging bibles & wearing righteous faces, to let you know whose side they're really on... pretentious hypocrites that they are. Giving a vote to a con is like giving away your vote, your voice.
Yup, that's our Dougie... last and least. He's got to be sent packing.
An important initiative. Help if you can. action.eko.org/a/save-the-l...
My current car is white, its predecessor was white, two before that were silver. I buy used, so colour isn't the main criteria. This lack of colour is boring. Time to change it somehow. Maybe a wrap or decals? Car sales over time by colour below... www.hagerty.com/media/opinio...
Smith has got to go! No signs of leadership in her at all. "She is risking the future of her country, not out of some deeply held principle, but because she thinks that’s the best way to keep her job."
There's more to life than what airports provide... many cities treasure their waterfront as a public good... Something else Ford would destroy on behalf of the well to do. Look at Chicago.
And all the people sitting at home, not lifting a finger of protest are complicit as well.
Yup, Clowns to the right, jokers to the left, the America no one believes or admires. ... Blundell sums it up:
Carney as the Master Builder? Cooperation is a great alternative to capitulation. open.substack.com/pub/deanblun...
Trump, not an aberration but a genuine American; not a king, but something worse, an embodiment of America, of it's mobocracy... something Canadians must be on guard against... the toxicity of American exceptionalism. From the Globe and Mail
Universities, especially the arts, are under attack in most western countries with the rise of populist thinking/ technocracy who believe it endangers them; the 1%ers. The exploiters are shooting themselves in the foot. Hard to get blood from a rock. Better they should learn to nurture people.
Well this will not help American Christians and others feel good about the Israels.
Pushing back works. Can't push back if you don't pay attention, if you can't get information. Logical then to protect right to freedom of info. Logical then to push back on Ford's plan to hide info. Next time he can buy a plan behind your back? He's crooked. Always was, always will be.
This is more important &consequential than the private jet! Keep up the pressure! The Ford government has filed a motion in the legislature that tees it up to bypass public hearings on the controversial freedom-of-info system restrictions it's proposed & potentially make them law this week!
Canada post is curtailing home delivery... you are compelled 2go2 a community mail box. Regularly! Time to stop all hard copy transactions? Stop junk mail. an era ends. What happens if you don't pickup your jury summons? See the law. Does each person now get an offical digital mail box now?
I definitely see the USA as a threat to my life as a Canadian. open.substack.com/pub/canadian...
AI: Already too dangerous to release... they don't know what they've got...
Forget air temperature change... the real worry is ocean water temperature change. You can't just keep letting it get warmer... we're the frogs who will soon enough get cooked. And AI data centres don't help with that. www.nationalobserver.com/newsletters/...
- Typically bulk consumers of goods and services get discounted rates. - Large scale consumption of a good or good can lead to shortages. - AI threatens to eliminate jobs. Given all that, metering how much electricity is sold to AI facilities and charging premium rates seems appropriate.
