PCS doing its bit to build the renewables revolution. We are putting on more solar panels to our HQ building. This means we will be more or less self-sufficient for many months of the year. If we can do this, every sizeable organisation can.
PCS' National Executive Committee has finished. We held it in Redhills Miners Hall. The place is seeped in labour history but it is sobering to think that this working class area, once a rock solid Labour council is now run by Reform.
I was proud last night to attend/speak at an event outside the Chinese Embassy in London commentating the 36th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. It was one of many such events around the world. Of course in China itself all commemoration is banned, but the massacre is not forgotten.

A further £440 million investment each year for ports and £355 million per year to a dedicated training fund for offshore oil and gas workers with match-funding from industry. Given the profits made and the tax take from the North sea, these are modest and doable demands.

I have again begun subscribing, hopefully for the rest of my life, and a few days ago I received my first hard copy of the Notes. I felt like a kid, opening my Christmas present.
Then onto a hospital that was attacked by a Russian missile. You can see the damage yourself from the pictures. Whilst we were there, we talked to the local health union, who have a 96% membership in the hospital. Really good to talk to the activist doctors and nurses.
We have arrived in Kyiv and had our first meeting with trade unionists.
Picket line today, outside Abercrombie house, East kilbride. Magnificent. Solidarity with the PCS strikers.
It is Wednesday so it must be strikes in London where G4S and ISS are on strike both in Whitehall and in Canary Wharf. Also G4S and OCS workers are on strike in Scotland. Enjoy the music and dance outside 70 Whitehall.
