I'm OK with an attempt at a wide view, unusual angle, big synthesis. (Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire!) Just take a step back after that, let other smart people chew it over, chew it up.

I attempted to do this on Spotify, and even with a paid plan it kept kicking me out of my playlist. (I remember ipods, shouldn't be that complicated!) Quit Spotify and bought a 'digital audio player', quite happy with it.

Picture of a Hiby R3 II digital audio player. It is my 2nd proper digital audio player. This has 'balanced' output which is a bit fancy and largely unnecessary but it's fun to explore.

The great thing about having music outside of one's phone is it doesn't drain the battery, isn't dependent on signal. And the sound quality is much much better.

I download, swap and rip music these days. I am uninterested in 'renting' my music, my media.
