I’ll admit this past week in London I deliberately left my usual air show social media posting behind. Really glad I did. Air shows are gushes of information and it’s a good way to have things get lost. It was still a great week with the amazing team from @theaircurrent.com. MUCH more to come.
Indescribably proud of @theaircurrent.com’s @elanhead.com and @willguisbond.com who, respectively, took home the awards for Technology Writer of the Year and Best New Journalist at the 2026 Aerospace Media Awards here in London!
Humor me for a moment, testing something out. Excited to share more soon.
Been curious about @theaircurrent.com’s app but you’re not a subscriber, you say? Quite alright! Airflow, our stream of headlines, is free for all to enjoy. Perfect for following the Farnborough Airshow. Dive in! iPhone: apps.apple.com/us/app/the-a... Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d...
Happy 250th birthday, America. You are beautiful, complicated and I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together and the potential for generations of greatness to come.
It's finally here: @theaircurrent.com app for Android! play.google.com/store/apps/d...
Oh my. I think I saw this flight over my neighborhood this morning. Here’s one of two that were in formation when captured this at 10:52 am.
Time to go for a ride. Heading from SJK to GPX. Gotta make sure the Shuttle still has a place to land.
A collapsed nose gear is an ugly thing, but look closely at what happens when you design an airplane with an intense level of forethought for such a failure. The weight sits entirely on the 787’s nose — not the engines — and the MLG doors still open freely.
12,000 Artemis II photos just dropped. Some unexpected new favorites in here. eol.jsc.nasa.gov/SearchPhotos...
Rest easy, Big Banana. My heart is with all the Spirit employees who are having to endure this. Just awful.

Saturday is kid sporting events. Morning on the arrivals side. Afternoon for departures.
Never in my life have I looked up at the Moon and known there are humans closer to there than here.
MECO: It's 2026 and four humans are beginning their journey to the Moon for the first time 54 years.
The Boeing 757 would like to remind you that it is better and cooler than anything else flying.
It’s called Relaxed Row. Coming to all 787s and some 777s. On 200 aircraft by 2030.
