Mailboxes for the houseboats off Gate 5 road. Trying to maintain the “artist esthetic”.
In 1980 or so the city of Sausalito decided the weekend of the art festival would be a good time to bulldoze several artists home/studios Without Prior Warning. Most artists can’t afford to be there now. But we must keep up appearances.

“The Octagon Room” was a bar or something. I would live in it if someone paid the rent

Food, sorta. #flowers

Enormous passionflower with purple to white curly petals. The fruits are shaped like kiwi fruit & not sure how edible they are.

Two huge artichokes that dried out in full bloom so the centers of the flower are still purple.

#Dahlias. I don’t draw real things. Yeah, right.

Single dahlia flower. Almost globe shaped and ranging from dark to light peach color. It is a perfect fibonacci sequence.

Wheel sculpture about 12 feet high made of granite bricks the artist cut and assembled.

Marble electric socket about 6 feet tall mounted on a big lump of marble. The artist tells me it plugs in and lights up.
I forgot to get his name because I was being attacked by my hormones; he being an attractive man of appropriate age.
