Alien: Isolation (Xbox 360/PS4) I'm not big on horror games, but at the time NECA was doing their excellent Aliens xenomorph figures and I got caught up in the hype. I have never been so scared of a VIDEO GAME that I had to turn it off and walk away. But I did it. 100% achievement get.
Fable III (Xbox 360) I hadn't played Fable 1 or 2, but I still had a ton of fun. The game's art style and combat had a real "everything you already like" feel. It also made me realize I could never be President, because I care too much about saving as many lives as possible.
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (Xbox 360) The first 360 game I played, and the first game I enjoyed so much I challenged myself to beat the campaign on the hardest difficulty. Grappling hooks, mech suits, and giant alien bugs on an ice world? There's nothing in that sentence I don't like!
