Coatesville opened an awesome new park with basketball courts, a splash pad, and public restrooms. My kid decided to be the first to try the splash pad while my back was to him. Coatesville rocks, and the park is now certifiably fun

It's incredibly important to support the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County. District Attorney Chris de Barrena-Sarobe and I jumped (strutted) at the chance to walk 1 mile in high heels for the cause. Having done a few of these, I'm thrilled to set a new PR with 16:47 for a mile in size 13s.
Chester County has extended the in-the-line-of-service death benefit to paid police officers, retroactive to January 1st. At the Hero Fund event tonight, we let the O'Connor family know that we love them and we're here for them. We're not going away easily.
St. Patrick's Day is special to me. My grandmother, Mary O'Shea, was born in a rural stone house in Coalbrook. Her family came to the USA for a new life, gritting it out. I'm incredibly proud and thankful for them. This is one of the reasons my son is named Riordan. Táim bródúil as a bheith Gaelach.
Today we honored the service and life of Corporal O’Connor. Words can’t express the appreciation I have for the sacrifice he made. We will ensure generations to come will know his name, and what he sacrificed for the rest of us.

Rory joined me for the day after a childcare call-out. I'm blessed to have friends like those at Open Hearth who enjoy having me bring the kid to a meeting, and to live near a second-hand kids' toy store so I can outfit the office with a sleeping tent and cool, vintage toys. Kid had a good day.
The annual New Year's ice-fishing trip was a success, except for the fish. Our guy does not mind the cold.
