Here's my entry, taken 9 years ago at the Q Center, St Charles, IL. The hallway was as narrow as depicted.
As I recall, and this is for a LHD car, the cable went over the engine, then down to the clutch linkage. There were so many bends it’s not surprising they broke. Here I am back in the 80s with the Fuego.
I had a Toyota bz4X in Norway recently, and the nearest charger was a Tesla one. Even though the EU chargers have credit card access, for grins, I tried using the US Tesla app (which I do keep as a backup when I'm driving my EV.) It worked like a charm, as you can see . I was surprised by that!
Don’t look at the current Volvo colors; so boring. Ford even got rid of my car’s color.
I saw this happy little survivor in the Bodø area. I haven’t seen one in a long time.
Not doing my bit to get pictures of survivor cars, but I did see a first gen Polo and a first gen Ka yesterday. I did see a new R5 in yellow. I liked it but we’ll never see it in the States.
I’d love to own a Seven someday. Visibility reminds me; I bought a Honda CX500 Turbo when they first came out and one thing Honda touted was its visibility with the slightly reflectorized paint and the day-glo striping. I didn’t find it worked any better than my previous black moto.
One more shot from SFMOMA last Friday. It is OOC, shot on an iPhone 17 Pro using the Leica Lux app. I'm working on getting my "eye" back after not shooting photos for a while. I'll be in Norway in a week or so and will be taking at least one of my cameras; I haven't decided which one yet.
I was at SFMOMA last Friday, and these are a few pictures I shot. I have more, but didn't want to run afoul of copyrighted works. All are OOC, shot on an iPhone 17 Pro using the Leica Lux app.
Probably dealer vinyl. My '78 Accord had dealer-installed striping. (Pufnstuf not available.) The photo was taken with my phone from a Polaroid, so it's not high quality.
Was it very humid? Was the air conditioning on? Here’s my car from last week when it was about 16°C. I was driving mostly 70-75 mph on a very hilly interstate.
I prefer a wagon and I owned an original Chevy Avalanche, so I don’t mind cladding 😂
Old hat. 😂 This is from 2014 from the town we lived in at the time. The Chief drove it as he was a very tall man, and supposedly didn’t fit well in the Chargers.
I love my highlighter yellow Rally. I just ran the 2026 configuration: add $1500 for the stripes and the spoiler, $995 for the white wheels vs. grey, and $495 for the frunk! Plus you can’t get it in yellow or the molten magenta. 😑
Fergus is our standard poodle parti-colored, and Benji is our BMD mix. They’re good boys.
After years of shoveling and snowthrowing machines out in the open, I went for overkill.
I have to attend NEC at least once in my life. However, bringing my poodle would be too much work, but he probably could drive a train and he doesn’t drink.
I think I'll take the Q. Here is an OOC jpg from testing everything out with just a little cropping. It's so much nicer than the phone.
