this is the first sourdough I’ve baked in the bread maker! Turned out better than I expected too. If you know me, you know I don’t use the oven during the hot summer months 🥵 but today I wanted to do some baking so tried this new sourdough recipe as well as baked a banana bread in the machine! Yum!

Halfway through this book & want to suggest it for your reading list. It’s informative, shocking, & heart-wrenching. I’m learning so much. Highly recommend it regardless of if you know any autistic people (diagnosed & undiagnosed) or neurodivergent people. It’s always good to learn something new 📚💛
Thanks to all who made time to wish me a happy birthday. Highly recommend! One of several books I enjoyed last week. As someone of Scottish ancestry, a woman, a person who’s been called a “witch” a few times, & a lover of good books, this was a gem! Bonus was listening to the audiobook off Libby App. The authors’ voices were fantastic! #witchesofscotland

Another denim & doily upcycle project! This one’s a pair of jeans I took apart at the inseams to turn it into a long skirt and 3 lovely white doilies I’m sewing into the back as the slit is a bit too high 😉 #upcycle #sewingproject #denimanddoilies
Every 6 months I see the eye specialist to make sure there’s no signs of virus or damage to my optic nerve… Everything is looking good & I had wild “Other Mother” eyes for hours afterwards-grateful for the excellent care I receive, the medications that help my eye stay healthy, & for my vision!
