In College I shoved a Voodoo 5 into a Shuttle. I had to hack up a molex cable to power it. I didn't have electrical tape at the time, so I used duct tape. It worked well enough, heh.
Ayreon - The Human Equation. It's a prog rock/metal masterpiece featuring tons of performances from other artists (like James LaBrie, Devin Townsend). It's the best album about waking up from a coma you'll ever listen to.
I'm pleased to see GloryHammer returning to the distant future of the year 1993 for their next album. I love their stupid timeline so much. Plus their music is excellent! If you're into power metal you should really check out GloryHammer.
Happy #RandomGameSaturday! Today's random game is Ghost Squad for Wii! I love the arcade version of Ghost Squad, and the Wii version is a fun port. Especially in Party Mode when you slide a dude's throat with a banana.

I've done everything there is to do in Super Mario Wonder: Meetup in Bellabel Park. Mario Wonder is pretty great! So many inventive levels. I'm glad I came back to finish it. Now I'm free!
Chronic kidney disease sucks. Our sweet old man Conoco is still with us, but I don't know for how much longer. He's been with us since April 2007 and was probably 2-3 when we got him. Give your pets some love.

I helped beta test SP2! I got a commemorative install CD (just installs SP2, not all of WinXP). :D It really was great!
I'm winding down an astrophysics lab at work. I found an IBM ThinkPad 600X connected via RS232 to one of the fiber SANs. It runs Windows XP SP2. I found the password and logged in. This computer has been sitting there, on, for 2,585 days (7.08 years). Its battery still holds a charge!
I've spent most of the weekend working my way through Super Mario Bros. Wonder Final-Final. That is a very challenging course, sheesh. I'm apartment sitting to watch a dog though, and the dog is content to watch me play, so I'm gonna get through this. Gotta do it for her.

I received my vinyl for @tinselman.bsky.social's Myst & Riven soundtracks today! They're beautiful, and I haven't even opened them yet. I've been listening to the Myst soundtrack itself for about 30 years. Both are special to me, and these new vinyl releases are a great addition to my collection.
