Where I post about politics Socialism with American Characteristics (Liberalism) i love my wife
zoomers trusting telemarketers more than every other age cohort is fucking hilarious
Honestly blessed to be an elder zoomer can I can clown on him the old fashioned way alongside the brand new joy of whatever the fuck this video is
The implication of this post being that we should blanket ban social media is, put bluntly, both so insane and lazy and I'm surprised that so called serious people even propose it.
All the respect to Bouie but this severely discounts how hard DSA worked for these races. Reynoso ran his ass off and made it ugly. Same for Espaillat. I think NYC-DSA is a genuinely competent and persuasive org.
Dipshit 2026 popularist transported back to 2019: we should run Tom Wolf for president
I had no idea OBBBA increased Low Income Housing Tax Credit funding? If I have any housing policy peeps, how do you feel ab this? I guess this is sort of a part of an upward wealth transfer but also it's pretty good imo www.congress.gov/crs_external...
it’s so awesome that you can make out the little inbred hick island of bucks county on the precinct level results of 2024. Fuck that place.
Just one more map: The Rhynhart -> Stanford swing. Stanford billed herself as an institutional progressive with the support of Dwight Evans while also supporting progressive priorities like Medicare for All, but white degree holders were likely turned off by her comments about the Gaza Genocide.
More PA-03 Data Visualization! This map shows the swing from the 2023 Mayoral Primary progressive (Rhynhart+Gym) vote to Rabb's voteshare. Some interesting swings here that tell me that Rabb likely would have won a 2 way race between him and street.
The gains from Gym/Rhynhart '23 -> Rabb '26 are much more visible when using a Margin of Victory as opposed to just voteshare, though.
The extent to which this maps onto Rabb's voteshare is kind of ridiculous. Noticable gains in Cherelle Parker won divisions though!
Feel like not enough people on here talk about how absolutely ridiculous car prices are nowadays and how horrible it is for consumer sentiment. Like this fucking piece of shit has 100k miles, almost 10 years old, and costs about as much as it did in 2019! This is normal now! What the fuck!
Cannot get over these numbers for Rabb. Did not realize Southeast Philly was just a baby commie corridor I am coining the People's Republic of Passyunk Square
rabb winning rhynhart + 50-75k neighborhoods is a truth nuke and probably proof of concept for a socialist mayoral campaign next year in the city
