Look, its a good article amd worth reading... but i also gotta say using this image for the Defendant icon seems indicative of a certain bias at least, if not outright prejudicial.
Interesting you mention that! I noticed in the new Union contract for the cops (submitted today at 2pm for tonight's meeting), on the first page, was a new pay raise for traffic details. Neat! I wonder what else we will find in that contract...

After a successful Cleanup Day in Union Square with the neighbors, we made a trip up to Prospect Hill where the Tower is open today! Head up now for some great views of the whole region, and some real peace and quiet in the city!
But INSTEAD of doing that, ima play with my kids this morning, coach a class at the gym, and then join my neighbors in Union Square at 10am for a Neighborhood Cleanup! Come on out and interact with humans!
Cooked 2# of fried calamari, 2.5# of steak, a raft of stuffed peppers and stuffed portabellas and zucchini, plus mashed taters. Family dinner for 8 tonight, love a nice day off! Pictured: only the aftermath, because I am not fast enough to take plating photos. 😀

Pretty sure nothing in the founding of this country enshrined "border control" or "respect for law enforcement" as foundational values. (That said, the USA did have one successful violent revolution against a dictator back in 1781.)
If you're losing sleep over ICE abducting our neighbors, there is a protest tonight at the hotel where ICE agents are reportedly staying. Let them hear about it.
In happier news, COME TO FLUFF FEST! Today is Somerville's BEST Street festival, loads of fun activities and vendors here in Union Square!
The next two minutes of video show me offering to walk off with him since he's not being detained. He declines, because he "doesn't want to be rude". Less than two minutes later, they place him in cuffs with no explanation and stuff him into a car with NY plates.
As you can see, this man is as cool as a cucumber, knows his rights, and is confident that he is here legally.
