Yeah, I’m that weirdo who’s been drinking Mountain Dew for over 40 years. Never met anyone else who drank it until I joined the Army. It’s no longer the habit it once was for me, but now just an occasional treat.
I love the idea of bloomscrolling. Maybe that’s why I post flowers. Graphic from Little Pine Learners Facebook page.
Before this day ends, I’d like to wish you all a happy Sunflower Day! This is my favorite sunflower photo that I’ve ever taken. Here’s your flower!
From last week’s visit to Gettysburg. Little Round Top is one of my favorite spots to visit. If you ever get the chance, go when the sun is about to set. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay that late the day these were taken.
If you like quirky, unique little places and you happen to like cats and US history, you need to check out Civil War Tails in Gettysburg. They have dioramas of various battles. Oh and all the soldiers happen to be cats.
The skies are filled with smoke making it unhealthy to be outdoors — so here’s a bit of pretty for you. Here’s your flower
Thank goodness it’s cooled down this week. I about melted away last week. Here’s your flower.
Eff this heat AND the horse it rode in on. 🥵 Seen any nice igloos listed on Zillow? The closer to the Arctic Circle, the better. 🧊
Yesterday in the Garden of Weeden, the bees were bizzy loving on the lavender. Except this gal. She was just chilling on a coneflower. Here’s your flower and friend.
That’s beautiful! I’d love to visit one day. My stepmom has a gorgeous blue hydrangea outside her bedroom window.
Yes, I’ll admit, I was a bit slow on this one. I cannot read the comments on articles about Juneteenth. There is far too much ignorance, racism, and hatred out there. We should ALL be celebrating this day, not fighting it.
One more from earlier. I am totally enamored with poppies right now. Here’s your flower.
What’s today’s date? Oh well. That doesn’t really matter. Still an ally regardless.
I’ve been away for a few days, but I’m back now and ready to spread cheer. Here’s your flower!
You can always tell when I’ve been out taking flower pics. You get flowers for days! This is no exception. Happy Thursday and here’s your flower.
