Yeah, there's also precedent like this on Reddit and some other apps. Not sure if that also limits Reddit's internal search, but something like that could make sense. Hard to completely prevent public data from becoming searchable, but at least within politely abiding apps, it could become a thing.

Feedback: I just wanted to give Skyrdle a try, but requiring sign-in to even see what it looks like and then having to give management/write access to my account for an unknown app dissuaded me from trying TBH. Does Bluesky allow giving permissions more on-demand when they are actually needed?
