This adorable little #crochet dragon is a commission, and I am very excited for the person to see it. 😀 It turned out so cute! Made by me using the Cute Critters Dragon pattern by Megan Lapp of #CraftyIntentions. Multi is Patons Canadiana, and stash grey 🧶. #amigurumi #crochetsky

Next up for #showmeyourknits tools that are useful and fun: yarn holders. My first yarn bowl, the kitty, was a BIG purchase for me as a knitter. But a yarn holder doesn't have to be expensive! The yarn spike is 3D printed from a free file online and soooo useful! Ask your friend with a printer.

This week #showmeyourknits asked what makes your knitting better, easier, more fun? First up is absolutely STITCH MARKERS. Do not be like me and think you can keep count. Invest in stitch makers. They can be safety pins! Or get the fancy ones that make you smile. Use them often and liberally.

Not much in the way of texture for #showmeyourknits, but these garter ribbed socks are finally finished! Yarn is Pro Lana Bamboo Socks. It's soft & stretchy & the self-striping works with a heel flap. I've made 3 pairs of socks with this yarn and all are lovely. #knitsky #knitsocks

My only fair souvineer is this beautiful shawl pin by Jen Lipski Fine Art, who forged it! It's the perfect blend of elegant and rustic to go with my knitting, and I look forward to wearing it lots (when the weather cools enough for shawls). #knitsky

Attended the Maidens in the Mist #renaissancefair today! The weather was cool(er) and overcast and honestly perfect. Only took a handful of photos, and those of the #joust. I love that they use draft horses.

Today is our first wedding #anniversary! This was my #weddingbouquet, roses I made from free/cheap #comicbooks and an old, used copy of #JurassicPark (yes, I mentally struggled with cutting it up). Flowers have since been dispersed to vases about the house and my office.
