I want to make my feed friendlier with more pet, wildlife & nature posts. I also follow music, comedy, and kindness. I'm a Vermonter w/ deep ties to New Mexico. Liberal, former evangelical who escaped the lies and propaganda
Here are some stages for Jasmine from Christmas 2024 to a month ago. She soothes away every anxiety, so cuddly and soft
I hope she does as well as Buttercup. She was walking weirdly and not turning her head. I took her to the vet, who gave her a couple of meds in the hope it would work and spare us a long drive and a lot of money for an MRI. She woke up this morning almost completely better. It's a relief
She also is my cue that someone is safe. One person who hurt me terribly was never trusted by Buttercup. Now I trust her and follow her lead
Buttercup is camera-shy too. The AI made posing possible. I get a few good photos of them. I understand paranoia about photos. I have maybe three photos I like of myself in the last 20 years. Here's Buttercup and Jasmine. Jazz is much bigger now
I know this is a cat discussion, but my dog Buttercup is hilarious when bacon is being cooked. She bites the air when the smell is thick. She gets a small piece for being cute in the end
Used to be great at getting a party started. My husband and I were wedding DJs. I was the crowd fluffer, starting dances and getting requests going. Now I'm good at sitting around, loving my pets, and being chill with some good medical weed
Buttercup likes going on dates, mostly to go sniffing around the yard then a quick sessio on her squishmallow yoga ball. See if your guy would like to join her
Even with my daughter watching Buttercup I just won't travel without her. I was in the hospital ten days and she howled the whole time. She was hoarse when I got home
My daughter took this picture last fall. I don't remember what town, but its central Vermont. I love old barns. My dream as a teen was to travel the country taking pictures if old barns, getting stories about them and the area on the way. I wanted to make a coffee table book
My 12-pound dog has chased a bear from our yard twice. I ran out screaming in my pajamas. The bears ran quickly from this noisy little girl. Now, deer, she runs to the house faster than the wind if a deer is around
Definitely. My cat, Jazz, is very intuitive too. Just look at the look she's giving you. Uh oh!
Buttercup loves everyone; she rarely backs down from a belly rub, except for one man, whom she hid behind me, even though he was being pleasant. I later found out he was arrested and on bail for a violent crime. Smart dog
Buttercup cheers me up every day. I couldn't decide which picture was happier, so I chose three for you. Her pictures cheered my MD friend during the worst of her COVID days. I hope she helps you
The lawn he had recorded has the numbers showing due to the chemicals used to write them
Molly has been gone a while, but I still can't resist her great big ears. She was chi-weenie. Only 4.5 lbs
I spell, treat, and walk around my dog. Unfortunately, she's learned w-a-l-k. Then I have to let her run around the yard at least
Yesterday I had to leave Buttercup for dental work. She started screaming when they took her. She's fine, but she's been crying almost nonstop all night & day. It makes me so sad. She has her favorite cuddle toy to soothe her. We are never apart except for grooming, which she loves.
