Just out here tryin’ to enjoy some things
I’d like everyone to meet my neighbor Charles. He’s had a bit of a rough night, not taking questions at the moment.

Isn’t though? Doctrinal issue well out of my expertise, so I’ll take it on faith, so to speak.
And a bonus beer! Seasick Crocodile from OKC‘s Prarie Artisan Ales! This is a seasonal sour ale spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and cranberry. Almost like a fizzy Christmas punch at 6.3% and the sour bite nicely cut a bit of sweetness. You might like it even if your heart is full of unwashed socks.
Beer Advent Calendar Day 25: Out Most Popular Holiday Beer from Evil Twin Brewing! A Belgian-style ale that pours dark but not too heavy. It’s cinnamon and nutmeg here; unexpected and interesting! Rich but not overwhelming with the cinnamon balanced with warm vanilla notes. Try it! Happy holidays!
Beer Advent Calendar Day 24: The Cat Who Stole Christmas from CT’s Fat Orange Cat Brewing! A sour ale made with kiwi, guava, pineapple. It’s got a medium smooth body and finishes with a bit of acidity with the lime and sour. An interesting spectacle and if you like tropical sours it’s not bad!
Beer Advent Calendar Day 23: Ambrosia: Walking Into the Fog! From Abomination Brewing a DDH, double IPA. It’s juicy, creamy and extremely sweet with lots of fruit, and the coconut in the finish. It’s 9.1% ABV, but that’s well-masked by all the sugary sweetness. Interesting, but not my thing.
Beer Advent Calendar Day 22: Three Scrioges Winter Ale from Griffin Claw Brewery! A 6.5% winter ale with clove and orange peel, plus molasses and honey give it balance between the expected spice and sweeter notes. It’ll have you leaning out the window, shouting for an urchin to pick you up a few!
Beer Advent Calendar Day 21: Big Bad Baptist: The Godfather from UT’s Epic Brewing! This barrel-aged imperial stout is a whopping 15.2%, but for all that it was not overpowering. It’s got the roasted bitter flavors, but I thought quite sweet with chocolate flavors. A very approachable imperial!
Beer Advent Calendar Day 20: Even More Xmas from Evil Twin Brewing! This imperial stout pours dark and beautiful with medium body. With coffee, dark chocolate, and toasty malt flavors, each sip reveals more flavors. It’s a hefty but balanced 12% ABV in this complex and tasty beer. Well done!
Beer Advent Canendar Day 19: Oberon Eclipse Rasberry Wheat from Bell’s Brewery! A fruit take on their flagship wheat beer. Strong rasberry flavor, but not overly sweet in my opinion. An easy drinking 5.8%, it’s a bit thin, but balanced for what it is. One to try if you like fruit-based beers!
Beer Advent Calendar Day 18: Fastwalker Interdimensional IPA from Wax Wings Brewery! A hazy, citrusy IPA made with Galaxy, Citra, and Simcoe hops in nice balance. It’s juicy, tasty and fresh at a respectable 7.2%. Another delicious local brew. So many good breweries in Kalamazoo, I can’t keep up!
