all this time I felt so strange about calling myself an artist, an artist who hardly draws i went to my parents’ home, and found a box full of my sketchbooks. all of this effort in weight and material, spread out over time in such a stark visual representation i guess, i really am an artist

i've been gripped by this idea, of cybernetic eyes with parts reminiscent of a camera, shifting assemblies and moving apertures, i'm not sure why i find it so compelling so i tried to draw it

When I opened my eyes she was gone.
