So I thought my novel, The Mermaid And The Mini Horse, would fit into the aromantic category, but it seems like all the Aro booktokkers are all still reading what looks like romance but with aroace characters? I am so confused. Do they not want strong interspecies friendships and revenge?

I find every daily chore too much these days: put away the shopping? Annoying. Paperwork? Tedious. Laundry? Urgh. I am normally fairly neutral about all this, but I just don't want to do anything! I want sit demurely and mindfully watching my dramas and reading books.

Posted this video on TikTok today. Seems some people are only reading dialogue in novels. My novel is dialogue-heavy, so you can skip the description of the orcas capsizing a ship or of the kelpie (seahorse) learning to walk on land, or of the mini horse kicking a hole in a fence & so on.
