Beautiful sunset tonight on the North Yorkshire Moors after a lovely, relaxing, long weekend away. Back to work Tuesday. Lots of walking via some great pubs, cannot comprehend how cold it is here though, was a shock after heatwave temperatures in Leeds which is just 1.5 hour away!
This looks like Goathland, N.York Moors! We live in Leeds but visit Goathland every summer for a relaxing break in absolutely beautiful countryside with trips to the nearby coast. This is my sunset picture from last summer.
Almost a year to the day and we were back last night at the Brudenell in Leeds to see these Geordie legends, Smooth & Turell, playing fabulous soul tunes with top chat between songs. What a great night.💃🏻

3 yo grandson: huge life-goal steps achieved today. Had his own PKU pizza today at his friend's birthday party, all organised without any fuss, and ate over a quarter of it😃. Then, went happily on the bouncy castle, which for some reason has had an irrational fear of up to today🙌🏽#PKU
Superb long weekend on the North York Moors. Sunny Whitby on Friday, long treks over the Moors on the weekend, cooler with showers. Saltburn today was extremely windy, got sand blasted
Enjoyed a wonderful day off on the NE coast with our grandsons. The perfect summer day. It was beautiful, sunny and warm walking from North Shields to Whitley Bay, with a few refreshment stops along the way.

Up in Newcastle over the weekend for Nanna duties; managed to fit in an early teatime visit down at the Quayside to enjoy this beautiful nighttime view.
