So I won an alumni achievement award from UIUC tonight, and I so proud of my fellow alums and ghe current students. In an incredibly fraught time for universities and for the world it was nice to be reminded why we're fighting

Hey so if you move to Chicago and you're shown an apartment like this? Don't take it. No matter how cheap it is. If you're lucky it won't flood (it probably will in the spring rains just FYI) but you will have vermin issues and there's a very good chance it doesn't meet fire code.
