New wall hanging from that wild free estate sale last winter. Pillow to obscure the mess on my desk.

I have my own state cat of Maryland to worry about

A cat with mostly orange and black fur, and white on her feet. If you look carefully, her feet alternate black and orange in the front and orange and black in the back, like the four quadrants of our flag.

She’s standing near a special drinking fountain and has visibly scooped water all over the new hardwood floor despite a mat and a tray underneath it. She’s staring off into space thinking about the potential responsibility of being state cat.

Cat tax interlude
