This is the volume of water running through my sump pump after the storm (last night). I've lived here 20 years and I've never once seen it like this in summer (and only rarely in the spring runoff). My sump pump is still going now, though less frequently.The water table must be so high! #Ottawa

#OttawaRiver sunset bike ride. Great to see Britannia Park etc. just hopping on a sweltery Monday night. I saw SUP yoga, a drumming circle, a hookah pipe circle, soccer, volleyball, fishing, dancing, you name it. Love it.
You don't often see water skiing, or whatever this was, at this end of the #OttawaRiver (mostly sailing).
Some #films stay with you for hours, days, years after you watch them. This is one of them. It is so rich with meaning and functions on many levels simultaneously. As soon as you finish watching, you want to watch it again to see what you've missed. See it for the street scenes of Paris alone.
