any Eric Johnson fans? We met when I was 16, he was Austin music royalty in the Electromagnets. I took a couple guitar lessons and was equally besotted/intimidated. Over the years, his incredible talent has become renowned and we've stayed friends. was happy to see him recently on UK tour. Amazing!

I woke up to the sad news that Jennifer Finch has passed on. I can only hope she was aware of and felt the love and support of the thousands who rallied to support her. I don’t know if there is any bass player in our community who wasn’t inspired by her thrilling fire performances with L7

Rob & Michele Reiner's murder feels like a personal loss, despite not knowing them. Regardless of facts or speculation, it's horrific and tragic. I think it's safe to say-given his activism-that advocating for universal health care including mental health would be one way to honor this couple.
