I was looking for something in art drawers and found the cover painting for this book so I thought I’d share. Madagascar’s spiny forest is one of my facorite ecosystems so when I found out the Sonoran Desert also had ocotillos (via convergent evolution) I had to include it! #kidlitart

I have a nook that is so unorganized and filled with stuff it’s unusable so I usually take over the giant kitchen table… until someone wants to eat. It’s such an efficient system 🤪
