Tranquility at 21:30 in county Durham UK. Wren, Blackbirds, Song Thrush, Woodpigeons, Jackdaw and male Buzzard as the evening birdsong.
Not a sunset yet. Birdsong- great tit, blue tit, stock dove, wood pigeon, blackcap, robin, blackbird - a mix on a chilly April evening (6°c) in Co Durham, UK
As the sun sets there is song from the thrush, blackbird, wren, blue tit, goldcrest, robin, chiffchaff and woodpigeon.

This sunset looks fantastic? What if I told you that was from 10 yrs ago, that this was Batu Ferringhi, Penang, and the the view was northward of Banda Aceh. These sunsets were/are due to forest fires. And they’ll get more frequent with international pressures of capitalism. #ClimateCrisis
My skyscape since whenever (2011). Many will say this sunset is dull/meh, but each day at about sunset I look out and say “hi”. A couple of years ago I was housebound (thanks, spine😔) and this view kept me going:
Hello autumn, my old friend. Leaves on sycamores are changing and many berry trees/shrubs are readying themselves for their berry eaters/propagators. The migrant birds are gone back south. Wood pigeons coo.
