Fuck you #shopify - if you’re force retiring (basically BRICKING) a piece of equipment which when purchased in 2023 was an investment of $429, then you should at least let us trade in the old units for a discount. You know which stores are still using them based on sales. New unit w/ dock is $449.

Important update about your POS Go
We want to give you a heads-up about a change coming to your Shopify POS Go, with plenty of time to plan for it. As we invest in the next generation of mobile selling hardware, we're retiring the POS Go as a handheld device to focus our support on more powerful options built for the future of retail.
What's changing?
On May 26, 2027, the POS Go will no longer function as a mobile point of sale device. After that date, it will automatically switch into countertop mode. It will still work as a customer-facing payment terminal with a brandable checkout flow, when paired with a tablet, but your staff won't be able to carry it around the floor.
This does not impact the Shopify POS Terminal, which we will continue to support moving forward.
If mobile selling is part of how you run your store, you'll want a plan before that date. You have two great options:

New Collection:
I've been searching for a while for a way to bring these ideas to life in a way that was both aesthetic and authentic to Tiny Werewolves - but also meaningful in the message. I've played with some of these retro characters before in past subscription boxes, but the inspiration came from the song in the old movie intermission advert "Let's all go to the lobby" where it features anthropomorphic snacks dancing and singing their way to the lobby during intermission.
