Gdańsk train station bathroom 🚾 is a about $1. I ain't mad. I'd rather have abundant restrooms that are low cost usage than insufficient (nominally) free restrooms.
Loving this part of my Polish cousin's introduction for me (meeting his friends): "and why a country that builds ten-lane highways can't build itself a tram."
I initially got a chuckle at the oversized airport signs here at Frankfurt. It reminded me of how oversized TXDOT highway signs are, designed to be legible at high speeds. Over here, I'd guess it's actually an accessibility feature.

All of these suburban sprawl intersections could be roundabouts, they'd be safer and function much better. Especially during peak periods. As @strongtowns.org points out, better to go at a constant slow speed than a variable stop and go. Fewer T-bones, less road rage, smoother flow.
