Comments like this are very nice to read. I'm also my favorite comedian.
I planned on using a pen name for my 1st kids book. I worried people wouldn't buy a children's book by the guy who wrote "the Nazi punching book". CLASH, my publisher, made me smile when they decided that, yes, people would in fact buy their kids a book by the guy who wrote the Nazi punching book.
I'm signing my new kids book Tiger Torn at Barnes and Noble in Sacramento, by the Arden Fair Mall. Here until at least 2. Come say Hi!
Here's the picture I was supposed to include with this post, I don't know what the hell I'm doing, why did you give me this thing
We're on the second episode of our new podcast, Prompt, where we feature the best storytellers. We play a clip them telling their story at our live show, and then we interviewed them about the story and themselves. open.substack.com/pub/inanutsh...

Happy Poly Styrene Day to those who celebrate. I believe the proper holiday greeting is, "Up Yours!"
Ran into Sid on my way to see Wu Tang with my little brother. And here's a picture of me with Method Man when I accidentally opened for Wu Tang years ago in Washington DC. I have a temporary tattoo of a golden uterus on my face.
Nice to see @georgetakei.bsky.social here on BlueSky. When he was the mayor of Facebook he shared one of my memes and got me ridiculous amounts of attention. Thanks, George.

The East Bay Express put my book “Punching Nazis and other good ideas” on their summer reading list back when it first came out, during Trump 1. I’m very sorry that it’s a good choice again this summer, but, here we are.
Oh, btw, "Punching Nazis and other good ideas" may be available at your local library.
If you've never listened to the 1971 album "Love it to death" by Alice Cooper, do yourself a favor and give it a spin. It's a damn masterpiece. They were the creepy dark side of Glam Rock. Keep in mind that this was before David Bowie did Ziggy Stardust.
As a journalist I feel I have a responsibility to remind people at every opportunity that Eric Clapton is a racist tool. I take this responsibility very seriously, and I think I'm pretty good at it. From this week's Good Times, the Santa Cruz free weekly.
We 3 friends, Amy, Aaron, & Keith put on In a Nutshell, at The Sofia. Our next show is next week, Friday May 23rd and we'd love to have you there. Need a discount code, or even a spot on our guest list? Hit me up. I want to see you there. I really love this show! InANutshellStorytelling.com

How hilarious is it that Ikea has to flip-the-bird proof their model hands?

The latest season of Black Mirror is fantastic and I wonder if other societies that have descended into dystopia have been this well entertained by tales of descending into dystopia as it happened.
