You'll be surprised to learn I haven't watched this yet. But until I do, every time I see the title, I start humming The Lion Sleeps Tonight to myself
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is The Small Assassin by Ray Bradbury. Having a baby is usually a joyous occasion, but sometimes it's the start of a nightmare. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/tZfeZBZz62
I don't think I've ever been as sad about anything as this guy is about a meteor hitting his car
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is Ely's Automatic Housemaid by Elizabeth W. Bellamy. It's a story from 1899 that proves you shouldn't be too anxious to sign up as a beta tester for brand new gadgets. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/T1Llyh1K
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is A Great Day For The Irish by A.M. Lightner. Watchdogs have to be watched or they keep everything out... including their friends! Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/wFD
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is The Vilbar Party by Evelyn E. Smith, a story which illustrates the perils of being an adorable alien when you're just an introvert who wants to be left alone. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/kkqAXzHk2Q
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is Rabbits Have Long Ears by Lawrence F Willard. An interstellar exploration crew mistakes Earth for a world of ferocious, weapon-wielding giants. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/IEOYC
BREAKING: President Trump just announced a memorandum of understanding with the algae. The US will pay the algae $50 billion. The reflecting pool will still be green, but a slightly lighter shade of green
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is "The Man Who Killed the World" by Ray Cummings. It reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode ""One More Pallbearer, except the guy actually goes through with it. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/8FEXoSyG
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is The Men Return by Jack Vance. In a psychedelic wasteland where the laws of cause & effect have dissolved into non-causality, the last "sane" humans scavenge for survival. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/JQM2NAoIVM
In honor of #EarthDay I'm watching such nature films as "Earwigs: Ewww" and "Man vs. Nature: The Road to Victory"
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is "Man of Distinction" by Frederick Brown, where Al Hanley’s drunken antics lead to an astonishing twist that saves humanity from alien enslavement. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/OwBG7X
On this date in 1912, Titanic left Southampton on it's maiden voyage. Titanic was so big its wake almost sucked SS City of New York into its side. Captain Smith & the harbor pilot saved the day. It probably would have worked out better for everybody if they hit each other.
How amazing is this? Jim Lovell recorded a message for the Artemis II crew and it was part of the wake up message this morning. Lovell passed away in August
In honor of Artemis II, I'm re-watching the HBO series From The Earth to the Moon. In the Tom Hanks intro for Ep 7 on Apollo 12 he says "The great adventure of going to the Moon may not happen again in our lifetime." I'm glad that one didn't age well.
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is The Monster Maker by Ray Bradbury. Two astronauts crash land on a planet filled with monsters... but only if you believe in them. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/EuykwkEGXP
This week's story on my sci-fi audio fiction podcast Auditory Anthology is The Happy Clown by Alice Eleanor Jones. It's like the Twilight Zone episode Eye of the Beholder, but with less pig-faced people but more clowns and the occasional lobotomy. Listen to the whole story: https://dwarf.ly/XiF
On this National Puppy Day let's remember Laika, the first dog in space and the first dog to be stranded in space by heartless Soviet scientists
