Day one is ready to begin. We have the brand new Middarmark book for Torchbearer and a new kind of role playing game, Interceptor at the booth (2703).
Been working on a new series of paintings. Postcards of scenes from The Third Man, one of my favorite Welles performances. Watercolor and Sumi ink on 300lb coldpress paper using one size 0 brush.

I finished series of scenes from Bram Stoker’s Dracula, but I don’t think I ever shared all the pieces here. These are the first four I did.

I got inspired by reading "Why Self-Publish Under Fascism?" by @marc-fischer.bsky.social last night and made a 12 page zine adapting my personal 10 rules, which are an adaptation of Kossakovsky's 10 rules of documentary film. @paulczege.bsky.social I get why you are addicted to this format now.
Here are the two lino block I carved. One is meant to be white ink on a black dice bag (right) and the other black ink on a white dice back (left). Inspired by the book Hekate The Witch by Nikita Gill.
Rejuvenated an old, old acrylic painting that had a hole in it I couldn't repair by adding more holes and some LED lights. Don't think it came out half bad.
Finished up four more scenes from Bram Stoker's Dracula. His courtship of Mina and stalking of Lucy. Acrylic on 8x10 canvas boards.
I finally got around to watching Creature Commandos last night. Fuck me that was good. Needed something like that. Particularly GI Robot's focus episode.

I don't do pop art very often, but wanted to do a little something in between person projects. These are the first four of 20 pieces I am doing recreating scenes from Bram Stoker's Dracula in acrylic on 8x10 canvas boards. Watching, pausing, painting.
Finished a new piece over my lunch break today. The Wild Hunt painted with watercolor, gouache, ink, and loose pastels on 12x 16 cold press watercolor paper.
13 lino cut prints each uniquely treated. Used a loose pastels dust that was fun and a little chaotic to work with.

I decided I wanted a full page illustration of the Tyrant, so I made one. The cover and other illustrations they are kind of hidden in the designs, so wanted to do something bright and disarming. Something simple. I also gave him 6 toes on each foot cause it is just weird.
Happy with how these spreads are coming together. A couple more tweaks and off to the printer we will go. If I am lucky, I will be able to ship issue 3 of volume 2 by early December.
I pulled and worked 13 of these this week to have ready for rock-con.com this weekend where I will have a table. One of them I am using as a cover for Yggdrasil MGZ. If you find yourself in Rockford, come say hello. #linoprint #ttrpg #rpg

Really happy with how these are coming out. For lots of people D&D and Torchbearer is a medieval imaginary space, but for me it sits in this art deco/art nouveau kaleidoscope color, design, and fashion. I rarely do work like this, so it has been fun to bring it to life.
